Piotr Wasilewski is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Mechanics, The University of Warsaw. He received his PhD in mathematical logic from Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland in 2005. In 2009 he received his PhD in cognitive psychology from the University of Warsaw. During academic year 2009/2010 he was a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Manitoba, Canada. Piotr Wasilewski is (co)author of 28 scientific publications. His areas of interests include perception based computing, interactive granular computing, soft computing methods and applications such as rough set theory and formal concept analysis, knowledge discovery and data mining, reasoning with incomplete information, human-computer interaction, cognitive science and applications of intelligent systems in fire engineering. He was a PC member of several international conferences and serves as a reviewer in a couple of scientific journals, including Information Sciences and Fundamenta Informaticae.
